Intro and name[]
The "Spoopybler guy" is a more then rare, allied with friendlys subclass of Scout.
Its name is derived from the, as far as we know, sole creator of this unique subclass.
Spoopybler's youtube channel:https://www.youtube.com/c/spoopybler/videos
Alternative names: FaN scout, Spoopybler fan, "Why is there a scout in our spawn", Sniper's nightmare.
Recently the legendary Combo Pyro main Sketchek made this video commenting on the playstyle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQu4pIczOIg
We have still yet to see a real population of these scouts utilising the true potential of its advanced movement tech, Sketchek has posted the promised frag video. Spoopybler continues to post Scout videos as well.
Thanks to Scream Fortress, Ive been too busy playing on halloween maps where top scoring masters of wizardry spies and even battlemedics are everywhere, I didnt notice any notable usage of this loadout. With all the chaos people tend to stick to safer playstyles and power classes, or die without showing the enemy team what they got. If anyone has seen some sightings, be free to replace this scream fortress part.
Loadout[]
The "Spoopybler guy" wields exactly these weapons:
-The Force a Nature.
This gives mobility with force jumps, extra high damage at close range to reward the flank, and utility like pushing away enemys, and saving yourself from fall damage.
-The Flying Guilitine.
This gives high damage at any range against a single target, as well as being a good weapon against retreating players, and while retreating yourself. It is thrown before using the FaN, or after against unexpecting players that fly away in a straight line with an airshot. This depends on the enemy and if you have that time to prepare.
-The Atomiser
Grants the third (or fourth) jump. After using the force jump you should switch to this so you can use the second jump while it deploys, and the third after. Unless you use the force jump to catch up to an enemy, in which case you should keep the FaN in your hands to reload and/or shoot it.
Spoopybler guy's will mostly ignore the Atomisers use as a melee attack. Should you use its attack though, youl see that its a more reliable damage dealer then the stock bat. It even retains random crits! However, the Force a Nature still deals way more damage at close range then the Atomiser, with a crit swing just barely surpassing the damage with none of the knockback benefits, or a second shot ready. That's why as a "Spoopybler guy" You should focus on having your FaN ready and loaded as much as possible. That leaves the Atomiser with the same function as the stock bat during stock Scout gameplay; as a last resort without ammo, and as a tool to mock players that don't turn around. And as a friendly knock that deals neglectable damage.
-cosmetics
Spoopybler himself does not use Scunt cosmetics, but they will fit you very well if you are out to focus single enemys behind enemy lines.
Following from the perspective of the writer of this revision of the article (crokobos):
"Before seeing Spoopybler's videos I've never noticed anyone doing this thing before. I might not ever have seen a proper FaN jump either.
Currently this is my go-to subclass, and I've grown quite strong with it. However, I'm not doing the playstyle that Spoopybler does as in getting behind enemy lines. I personally reccomend everyone try out the "Spoopybler guy" loadout.
I've found that fighting soldiers and demomen is a breeze with the added mobility, terrorising snipers is even better and easier, and the knockback resistance on the heavy subjects him to insane damage even with the second shot. Engineer is also toast to me but I mention that because I keep forgetting he is a light class. The FaN jump is the only Scout mobilty tool that will let you keep your momentum, so surfing sentry fire is more effective. " (the Boston Basher, Three Rune Blade and Wrapper Assasin all have bleed based jumps that don't work as normal Scout air jumps, just like the Force A Nature has.)
Sorry if this seems unfitting for a wiki, I don't know how to convey this information without talking about myself. Feel free to work on salvaging it in a hidden text.
