Buffalo Steak Heavy

Analysis

The Buffalo Steak Sandvich... isn't that good of a secondary choice. It restricts you from your Minigun and makes you take more damage in exchange for damage, which the Minigun works much better for anyhow. With that in mind, there are 2 main kinds of people who use this: new players who don't have any other lunchbox item yet but still want to help their team or want to be a Hoovy or they are the guys who like to play gimmicky sets and hope they work.

Loadout items to look for.

• Primary
  • Tomislav
    • While Stock could also pretty well, the Tomislav is what you see most because if the mini-crits run out, you will need a to pull out something to defend with really quickly.
• Secondary
  • The Buffalo Steak Sandvich (This is pretty obvious)
• Melee (While the majority of Heavy's melee options work well with this for a gimmick that is, even the Gloves of Running Urgently and Eviction Notice rework changing their vulnerability weakness to a health drain, these are what you are most likely to see when facing a Steak Heavy)
  • The Warrior's Spirit
    • Being in the same set, the Buffalo Steak and Warrior's Spirit naturally synergize well by increasing immediate damage for an extreme damage vulnerability.
  • The Apoco-Fists
    • While only a reskin for Stock, they have the added affect to gib any victim's ragdoll if killed via a mini-crit or critical hit. So naturally, it is paired well with a weapon that grants one of such benefits.
  • The Killing Gloves of Boxing
    • Likely the weapon of choice along with the BSS for Heavy in Medieval Mode, this allows the Heavy to one-shot almost every class that isn't currently overhealed.
• Notable Cosmetics
  • The Big Chief
    • If the Heavy with the glowing melee weapon out is using this, there is a good chance that they have the full "Hibernating Bear" set, using the Brass Beast and Warrior's Spirit.
  • Tsar Platinum and Starboard Crusader
    • Mimicking many Youtubers who've done this prior, they are likely using the Eviction Notice and going for a Jotaro Kujo-based loadout.
